Kaphornchen in Schleswig

Tried the new Mexican offer for the first time today. The dishes all tasted very authentic Mexican, everything tasted really delicious and homemade. A great culinary extension in Schleswig. Really recommended ?

Very, very nice. There is really delicious ice cream, in winter also mulled wine and other warm things. Great ambience. Unfortunately everything is open at the moment, Corona sends its regards. Otherwise a very good address.

More detailed explanation follows ... First of all, the trimmings was a disaster ? Well, now. The start of our encounter was unfortunately bumpy: - we came in, a friendly greeting - - then a guest came to the counter due to self-service, we had to get out again! Less than 20 seconds later we were allowed to come back in to sit down at a table, which led to my first lack of understanding. But okay, the entrance is narrow, you can somehow accept with all the Corona-mad rules! - something positive ... After we were able to sit down and choose our dishes, we ordered them according to self-service at the counter ... They were also served to us at the table with a short waiting time! Wow ?, because honestly ... The ordered tasted very good! - - It would easily give 4 stars, but the impossible went on .... ? Due to the requirements of the Schleswig-Holstein legislature, it must be ventilated! - - everything is okay, we adapt ... But 30min "ventilating" with 9 degrees outside temperature and wind, the guests were forced to put their jackets on again, ... does not work at all! Especially in the specification for catering only says: - to ventilate the guest and staff room more often with fresh air !!! - - - intermittent ventilation = 5min to max. 10min !!! We sat for 30min a ... schkalten?, so the food wasn't great anymore. When speaking to a waitress, only the statement came that the boss pretends to do so! It's a shame actually It went on with dessert ... A milkshake and an ice cream sundae, we sat inside and ate inside and wanted more ... Ordering actually at the counter inside, sat there too, but no - YOU HAVE TO DO THE DESERT OUTSIDE ORDER THE DOOR !!! Is it still possible? I completely fell away from the faith, that's outrageous and I have complained. I was heard nice and factual, but fobbed off with one of the most implausible statements - - - the boss wants it that way! - what nonsense, I sit inside, eat inside and order dessert outside to eat it inside ??? ? Well, Corona breaks a lot, unfortunately. But a little tip, you serve the food at the table - take your order there too! So you avoid the conflict with the narrow entrance !!! ? I / we will visit the Kaphörnchen + ice cream cone again at some point, hopefully without the Corona-mad rules and maybe, maybe then everything will be easy and schikilaki, because it's actually a nice spot

Very tasty ice cream and a very friendly young lady at the ice cream counter. Ball for 1.20 €. There are also varieties such as "Muddis Pudding" (tastes like vanilla pudding with raspberry sauce) or liquorice.

Everyone will always find something delicious here. At any time of the day. Whether ice cream, cake, sandwich, breakfast, lunch, wraps, etc. Highly recommended: hot white chocolate. The only drawback: there are no waffles in summer.

Complying with your own corona rules is probably not one of your strengths, and complaints are not dealt with. The view makes up for the average food. You are responsible for house rules, not the guests.

Very friendly and clean. The ordered food came quickly and warm. Appetizing It tasted good too. Servings were also sufficient for us. Unfortunately, there are very few parking spaces in front of the door. Nice view of the harbor.

The ice creams here are amazing, with great choice, I find. However, also lovely for a cup of tea, or coffee, and a piece of cake or some waffles. However, this place is even more versatile, offering a great place for a relaxing evening out, with great background music, and what better view than the Schlei. They offer delicious food options like Nachos, salads, burritos, filled potatoes. They are try to meet dietary requirements, with real empathy and the willingness to do their best. Very impressive.

Found on Google because we made a day trip to Schleswig and wanted to eat something at the end. Super nice people, small and comfortable it works. Anyone who is here I can only recommend it. The food is also delicious and heart made. Some restaurants do not get that way.

The taste was really good. The size of the ice balls are to my taste but unfortunately much too small. Am I really used at 1.20 ice balls almost twice as big and also think that you can expect a decent size for 1.20 euros and synonymous economically represent the price very well. Maybe caught a bad day ... had sent a buddy a photo ... there is the ice ball through the small ice cream cone even hit well. In relation to the fingers, the size of the waffle and ball then becomes clearer. Load it up ... was really small. But I will test it again and then possibly change the rating.

Great ice cream / cafe with a lot of charm and lots of small details that reminds of the harbor. The homemade ice cream was a mega blast, it was so delicious that we got another lookup the ice cream was really delicious !!! which one must also praise, the service has been, despite the stress, all were very very friendly and very hard-working, all orders quickly to work !!!! weiter so .... .. we will gladly come back !!!!!

Hands down the best ice cream I've eaten. If I didn't live some 6000 miles, I'd go there everyday. Super friendly staff, amazing owners. Definitely a must if you find yourself in Schleswig.

Very lovely, family owned restaurant. The variety is great! I tried the hamburger and was blown away. I also had one of their vegetarian bagels and it was delicious! And their ice cream is hands down the best ice cream I've ever had--check back daily for new flavors! The ambiance is great, and the views are as wonderful as the food and service! 10/10!

Lekker! Es gibt immer was zu verbessern, aber der Laden ist eine feine Sache. Es würde was fehlen. Der Kuchen ist gut, coffee as expected. For the city dweller it feels familiar. Fast and friendly staff. Lots of folks like it, even now during the winter season. I liked sitting outside, wrapped up in blankets, had a great Schlei panoramic view whilst sipping my coffee, but I had expected to find a seat inside - what a pity! I can see that people like to come back to Schleswig. This place gives you one more reason.
